The population is the 10th largest in the world. It wasn’t always that way but there were a great number of births in the 19th and 20th centuries. While the population of the world is growing overall the Japan population is actually falling.
This is unheard of in most parts of the world. It is mostly due to the fact that not many people are immigrating and not as many babies are being born. This may change as births and deaths even themselves out.
The population as a whole are usually Japanese born and of the same ethnicity. These people are incredibly lucky as they have one of the highest life expectancies in the world. This fact can be largely attributed to the fact that they eat well and lead healthy lifestyles.
One thing that is very interesting to note about Japan population is that they are an urban society. This is partly due to the economics of the region as most of the people work in industry. There is very little agriculture. Because of this most of the 127 million are concentrated in the cities and many complain of overcrowding.
Even though not many people are immigrating to the country there are strict rules if you’d like to become a part of the Japan population. There are alien registration cards available to be in compliance with the laws.
The Japan population as a whole is a very respectful group of people. This is especially true when you consider the treatment of the elderly. They are treated like gold and are appreciated by all member of the family.
Though the traditions of the elderly are respected it is a growing trend for the younger population to emulate Western society. This is much to the dismay of many parents and grandparents who prefer more subtlety.
The Japan population is vast with its 127 million people. It is a strange fact but the population is declining a bit. The population is very well respected all around the world because of their great work ethic and attitude.
